„20.000 Meilen unter dem Meer“ is based on the novel of the same name by Jules Verne and takes place in 1867. After several shipwrecks are reported at sea, the ship Abraham Lincoln is sent to investigate. Onboard are Professor Aronnax, his servant Conseil, and Canadian harpooner Ned Land. After encountering what appears to be a sea monster, they are shipwrecked and discover that the creature is actually the „Nautilus“ – a highly advanced submarine commanded by Captain Nemo. Trapped aboard, the player takes on the role of Aronnax, seeking to uncover the secrets of the enigmatic captain and find a way to escape from this luxurious yet inescapable prison.
