Heroes of the Lance takes you on a perilous journey into the ruins of a lost city, as you seek the legendary Disks of Mishakal in the name of the gods. Instead of traditional RPG gameplay, it features side-scrolling action in a maze-like environment. You control one of the eight heroes at a time, switching freely between them. Each has unique strengths, attacks and spells, better suited to different enemies – and when one falls, the next steps in. It's a battle of reflexes and tactics – not dice and character sheets.
