“The Amazing Spider-Man” tells the story of Spider-Man rescuing his girlfriend Mary Jane from the villain Mysterio. The entire adventure takes place in a film studio, where Spider-Man faces numerous enemies. He can stun foes using his webbing, but contact with them or other environmental hazards reduces his health. In addition to combat, the game features puzzles often focused on disabling Mysterio's tricks – such as altered gravity – to clear the way. Spider-Man uses his abilities, like wall-climbing and shooting grappling hooks, to progress.
