"American 3D Pool" offers a simulation of pool and billiards for one or two players. In addition to single matches, there is a tournament mode where up to eight participants compete in a knockout format, with at least one human player required. In the two-player mode, matches can be played against another player, the computer, or entirely computer-controlled. When facing the AI, its skill level can be adjusted from "very bad" to "very good." Matches can be decided by a set number of frames or points. The game also includes a trick shot feature with predefined challenges and an editor for creating custom trick shots.
