Apache Strike
Commodore 64 · 1989 · WOR
Publisher: Activision
In Apache Strike you pilot an attack helicopter through a simplified city landscape with the objective of destroying the enemy's strategic defense computer. Along the way you encounter hostile helicopters and tanks that must be shot down to continue your mission. An on-screen map displays your position as well as the direction and distance to the target, helping you navigate toward it. During the mission the onboard system provides digitized voice messages to report important events. Careful flying and accurate attacks are required if you want to reach the defense computer and complete the mission successfully.
