In Arnie you're dropped by helicopter into an enemy base and fight your way through predetermined paths lined with walls, bridges, and barbed wire. As a one-man army, you shoot enemy soldiers armed with machine guns or rocket launchers, avoiding contact and fire or you'll lose one of your three lives. Occasionally, a red soldier appears – if you take him down, he drops a stronger weapon with limited ammo like an M60, RPG7, or flamethrower. Vehicles such as tanks and helicopters also appear and must be destroyed or avoided.
