"Centurions Power X Treme" puts the player in control of Ace McCloud, Jake Rockwell, and Max Ray, who must stop Doc Terror's forces before they infiltrate a weapons development center and steal a large supply of Tyron Dichromate – a chemical used in nuclear fusion. Using their exo-frames, they penetrate the complex maze and fight against their enemy's henchmen. The player starts as a recon droid and can transform into Ace, Jake, or Roy depending on whether they are flying over sea, air, or land. By eliminating a certain number of enemies, weapons can be upgraded.
