Diplomacy places you in the political landscape of pre-WWI Europe and tests not your military strategy but your ability to negotiate. You forge alliances, make secret deals and try to outmaneuver your partners – because in the end only one player can win. Sooner or later promises must be broken and alliances abandoned, and that tension defines the game. Every round becomes a contest of trust, deception and careful calculation, where words are often stronger than armies.
