In Dogfight 2187 you play as pilot Rhett Dexter, a believer in an ancient prophecy: an invasion from another dimension threatens to emerge through a rift in the time continuum. To stop it, you steal an experimental fighter and set out to recover nine pieces of a warp generator scattered across space. From a first-person cockpit view, you track enemies on radar, manage fuel and shields, and battle waves of hostile ships. Defeated foes may drop generator parts, which must be delivered to the rift to gradually seal it and save mankind. Besides solo play, a two-player mode lets you either compete or cooperate in the fight.
