In Erebus you pilot a spacecraft through the massive automated refinery on the planet Erebus. Enemy forces from the planet Hadebus are using the facility to produce a deadly nerve gas that threatens humanity. Your mission is to destroy the alien ships and fight your way through the refinery complex. You must avoid enemy fire and take care not to collide with buildings or structures, as doing so will cost you one of your lives. Each level consists of several sections surrounding a dimensional duct that must be flown over to activate it. Once all sections are cleared, a bonus stage begins where you must survive waves of incoming ships for a short time before advancing to the next level.
