In Football Director, you can choose any team from a league, but the team starts in the fourth division. First, you need to hire staff such as scouts, physiotherapists, and coaches. You can also recruit a youth team to find hidden talent. Each week, you have the option to sign up to two players, whose form is rated on a scale from 1 to 10. Players with a rating over 5 are unlikely to want to play in the fourth division. The matches take place off-screen and are updated minute by minute. After the games, you receive the results. Financial management is crucial: you can improve your stadium, sell players, take out loans, and pay the club's insurance. Injuries, suspensions, cup competitions, and European games all add to the challenge. Also known as McCoy Football Director.
