“Game Over II” puts you in the boots of Commander Serena on a dangerous rescue mission to Moon 4 of the Sotpok System – better known as Phantis. This alien world is crawling with hostile creatures and wild vegetation. Your task: rescue your captured expedition partner. The gameplay blends horizontal shooter segments in the style of “R-Type” with intense platforming action reminiscent of “Turrican.” Across four phases and six levels, you'll face 24 different enemy types. On cassette versions, the game is split into two parts – and to access the second, you must earn a code revealed only after completing the first. This FX Doble Carga system was designed to deliver double the addictive gameplay time.
