Ghostbusters puts you in charge of a ghostbusting team tasked with saving New York from a paranormal disaster. Hired by the mayor and equipped with starting funds, you hunt ghosts across the city, watch the map for new hauntings, and drive through traffic to reach the locations in time. Once there, you deploy proton beams and traps to capture the spirits and lower the city's PK energy level. The money earned can be spent on upgrades and new equipment. But if ghost activity rises too high, the Temple of Zuul awakens along with Gozer – and only if you've been successful enough will you stand a chance in the final showdown.
