Hero Quest: Return of the Witch Lord expands the original game with a series of new, interconnected quests. This time the heroes embark on a continuous storyline that leads them into the ruined city of Kalos, where the Witch Lord has returned as a menacing threat. Gameplay follows the familiar Hero Quest formula: moving characters across isometric maps, exploring rooms, battling monsters, and collecting treasures. However, the expansion is notably harder, demanding greater strategy, careful planning, and teamwork to overcome the forces of darkness.
