Highway Encounter places you in an isometric 3D world where you control a Vorton droid tasked with pushing a bomb along a hazardous highway into an alien base. Across numerous screens, obstacles such as barrels block your path while mines and alien enemies attempt to destroy your mission. Additional Vortons accompany you, representing extra lives that move forward alongside your active unit. If one of them is destroyed, you lose a life without direct control – an unusual blend of strategy, precision and constant forward pressure.
