Hot Wheels is a licensed title based on Mattel's toy cars. You start at a car dealership with different types of model cars, but if they don't suit your taste, you can design and build your own. You look at your car from the side at a slightly elevated angle and can drive it to the right or left along the road. To change direction, you must enter an opening and exit in the new direction. The city itself is divided into two parts and connected by a highway. Each part of the city consists of different buildings and some buildings can be driven into, either to keep the car running smoothly or to take part in various mini-games.
