"Jack Charlton's Match Fishing" allows up to eight players to compete in a fishing tournament. Each player is assigned a random fishing spot along a lake, where various fish species such as pike, roach, and bream can be found. Before starting, a detailed description of the fish available in each area is provided. Using this information, players must choose the appropriate fishing rod, bait, and depth. During the game, one of the eight fishing spots flashes, prompting the corresponding player to press the matching number key as quickly as possible. A short animation then displays the result, which depends on the reaction speed and whether the selected equipment was suitable.
