In "Jouste," you take on the role of the Queen's champion, battling evil knights who also ride flying ostriches. To defeat an opponent, you must strike them from a higher position with your lance, turning them into an egg. Collect the egg before it hatches to eliminate the knight permanently. If you are struck from below, you lose a life. Once all opponents are defeated, you advance to the next level. If you take too long, a pterodactyl appears, forcing you to evade. In later levels, the floors disappear, and lava creatures can drag you to your death if you get too close.
