Krieg um die Krone is the predecessor to Heirs to the Throne and plays similarly to Risk. Set in a randomly generated fantasy world, you deploy troops and conquer neighboring territories. Key to victory is securing chests that contain royal items – the crown, orb, and scepter. Each grants noble titles, boosts your ranking, and rewards you with more troops. The first to gather all three becomes king and wins. Unlike many early games of this genre, you can also play solo against the AI.
