Maggotmania pits you against a writhing menace descending from the top of the screen while you control a blue creature at the bottom. You move left and right, slightly forward and backward, continuously firing upward to break apart the giant maggot. When hit, it splits into separate segments that advance further downward, leaving flowers behind that block your shots until destroyed. Additional creatures such as spiders and snails appear, offering bonus points but adding to the chaos – a frantic single-screen shooter where reflexes, positioning, and steady fire determine your survival.
