Motor Mania puts you behind the wheel of a racing car in a vertically scrolling top-down drive where your goal is to cover as many miles as possible. You control your speed up to 80 mph, brake, and steer left or right across motorways, country roads, and dirt tracks while avoiding other drivers and the road edges – as every collision costs one of your five lives. At the same time, you monitor your speedometer, fuel gauge, and battery power, since both fuel and generator levels decrease as you travel. Hazards such as potholes, falling rocks, crossroads traffic, broken glass, and logs affect steering, tires, and radiator performance. Only occasional gas stations allow you to refuel and repair your car – a demanding driving challenge where reflexes, awareness, and smart resource management determine your record distance.
