Out Run puts you behind the wheel of a powerful sports car as you travel alongside your passenger across open roads, aiming to go as far as possible before time runs out. Instead of closed circuits, you race along public highways filled with traffic that forces constant maneuvering and keeps every run unpredictable. The route shifts over time, taking you through varied environments – from busy cities to wide desert landscapes – giving each stage its own distinct feel. Reaching checkpoints in time is crucial, since only successful arrivals extend your journey and allow the drive to continue.
