Psycho Soldier continues the story of Athena, introducing her descendant Athena Asamiya, who now wields powerful psychic abilities. Together with her friend Kensu, you battle through a post-apocalyptic world overrun by mutants. The game blends classic side-scrolling platform action with shooter elements, featuring a constantly moving background, plenty of power-ups, and Athena's psychic blasts. The result is a unique hybrid of platforming and shooting that can also be played with two players.
