Rainbow Islands features Bub and Bob as boys instead of dragons, armed with the power to cast rainbows. These rainbows trap enemies beneath them, which can then be broken by jumping on top, releasing colorful gems. Each island has four vertically-scrolling levels with a tough boss at the top. Along the way, players can collect power-ups to increase speed or add extra rainbows for better control and survival.
