River Raid puts you in a jet flying along a hostile river as you destroy key bridges and fight through heavy defenses. Enemy vehicles, ships and aircraft appear continuously, forcing precise maneuvering between narrow banks and incoming fire. At the same time, fuel management is essential, requiring careful passes over supply points to keep the mission alive. The blend of navigation, shooting and resource awareness creates a focused action experience where mistakes carry immediate consequences.
