Rush'n Attack
Commodore 64 · 1986 · US
Publisher: Imagine · Genre: Shooter
Rush'n Attack in the United States (Green Beret) is an action video game developed and marketed by Konami in 1985 on arcade machines. The game was quite successful and was ported to various family systems. It had a sequel on arcade machines in 1989, MIA: Missing in Action. In this action game, known to be very difficult due to its handling, the player embodies an American soldier armed with a knife whose mission is to rout an entire army in order to avoid a nuclear war across six horizontally scrolling levels (missile base, airport, port, forest, warehouse and enemy base). The character can lie down, jump, climb a ladder, stab, use a bazooka or grenades. These secondary weapons are recovered when certain enemies are eliminated.
