Spooks is an action-adventure set in a haunted mansion. Your goal is to collect eight musical boxes and play them at the exit. Four fast-moving ghosts constantly hunt you, and you can only defend yourself by throwing heavy objects at them. The mansion is filled with rooms and items whose uses must be discovered to progress. Tension is heightened by the fact that when using the inventory menu, you only have a limited time to make your decisions.
