Star Race is set in a time when the planet Alpha One is on the brink of collapse. The Humanoids must find a new home before their resources are completely depleted. The strongest and bravest among them are sent on a quest. The Space Federation aids their mission by deploying space fighters to clear a path through the galaxy. The player takes control of one of these fighters, patrolling the solar system while destroying or avoiding hazards and hostile aliens. As they progress through five different galaxies, additional challenges must be overcome.
