Steve Davis Snooker
Commodore 64 · 1985 · EU
Publisher: CDS Software · Developer: CDS Software · Genre: Simulator
Steve Davis Snooker brings the rules of English snooker to the screen and can be played solo or with two players, but without a computer opponent. You score not only for potting balls correctly but also concede penalty points for fouls or misses, which are all tracked. After every shot you remain at the table, even if you foul or miss, making solo play more aggressive than real snooker since you never leave an opponent an opening. You can play with either 10 or the full 15 reds. After potting a red you select one of the six colors, chosen by its point value key. For each shot you set the aim, the shot power, and the spin.
