Super Alien is a single-screen action game and a clone of the 1979 arcade game Heiankyo Alien and was released on the Commodore VIC-20. The player moves through the maze and can place traps on the floor. If a monster goes in, it will be trapped and the player can kill it by filling the hole. Points are awarded for each monster defeated, while touching that monster results in a loss of life points. The maze is shown from the usual top view, but the characters have a side view.
