To be on Top est un jeu d'action musical dans lequel le but du joueur est de créer une chanson qui figurera dans le top dix des charts. Si la chanson atteint le top 3 des charts, le joueur reçoit une invitation au studio de télévision. Là, le joueur interprétera la chanson sur scène et devra toucher le plus grand nombre de spectateurs possible.
