Wizard's Pet

Commodore 64 · 1987 · EU

Also known as: The Wizards Pet (WOR)

Publisher: Mastertronic · Developer: Jason Kendall · Genre: Shooter

The Wizards Pet sends you across a strange fantasy world as Obygurgle, where you must find your way back home to your master before time runs out. The strict time pressure gives the game a clear sense of urgency and turns its already unusual premise into a tense little challenge. Its surreal presentation and fairy-tale-like oddness give the adventure a character all its own. The result is a distinctive game that draws much of its appeal from atmosphere, pace, and its curious core idea.
