In Wizardry III: The Legacy of Llylgamyn, peace has returned – until natural disasters like earthquakes and tidal waves strike the land. The sages believe salvation lies with the Orb of Scrying, guarded by a dragon. A new party of heroes must recover it. As in previous games, you lead a six-character team through a first-person dungeon, battling random enemies in turn-based combat and returning to town to rest and prepare. Characters must be imported from the first two games, and alignment now plays a crucial role: several dungeon levels can only be accessed with specific combinations of good, evil, or neutral party members.
