Mastertronic Clive Wilson Adventure

Publisher: Mastertronic · Developer: Clive Wilson · Genre: Adventure

Zzzz draws you into a dreamlike in-between world where, after falling asleep, you suddenly awaken in the strange realm of Zzzzz and must find a way back to reality. The blend of graphics and text gives the adventure a pleasantly fairy-tale-like and slightly surreal atmosphere that fits its unusual premise very well. Instead of requiring much typing, the game lets you control movement and actions through icons, which keeps everything feeling direct and accessible. That combination of dream logic, exploration, and easy interaction is what gives the game its appeal.
