Gimmick Land : Tomato Atama no Himitsu is an unreleased RPG developed by AlphaDream that serves as the prototype to Tomato Adventure on the GBA. While the game was complete and fully playable, Nintendo asked AlphaDream to port the game to the GBA. The ROM was leaked online in September 2020 as a part of the "Nintendo Gigaleak." An unofficial English fan translation was released on August 3, 2022. The game takes place in the colorful world of Gimmick Land, where the inhabitants live surrounded by special objects called “gimmicks” – mysterious gadgets capable of producing magical effects and solving problems. The hero, a brave young boy, is swept up in an adventure when malevolent forces begin to disrupt the balance of the world. To save Gimmick Land, he must travel to various regions, meet strange characters, and collect different gimmicks. The hero will have to use his wits and strategy to stop this threat and restore peace to Gimmick Land.
