AnEarth Fantasy Stories: The First Volume is a turn-based RPG published by MediaWorks in Japan in 1997. The game is a port of the PC Engine CD version. A baby lies in the snow in front of a church and several people walk by. The player has the option to press the action button, which will make the baby cry and attract people's attention. Depending on the time of the "baby campaign", the hero is adopted by different people. The game offers very interesting gameplay, all battles are preset, which means there are no random encounters. So you don't level up, but instead your hero can get better stats depending on your actions during battles. The focus of the game is exploration, and therefore there are many areas to explore and items to find.
