Daitoride is a puzzle game that can described as a combination of Mahjong and Shanghai (Solitaire Mahjong), and a sequel to Toride. Like in Shanghai, the player is tasked with clearing a stack of mahjong tiles arranged in a grid. However, rather than matching the tiles in pairs, the player picks individual tiles and puts them in their hand, with the goal of creating sets. Either three of the same tile, or three sequential tiles from the same suit, which are discarded from the hand once matched. Only exposed tiles can be picked up, and the player's hand cannot exceed eight tiles.
