Sol Divide is a 2D side-scrolling fantasy shooter where one or two players fight hordes of flying enemies using one of three characters, each with unique weapons and styles. Players can collect magic scrolls that grant powerful spells like lightning and fire. The story follows an evil being seeking the Power Stone, cutting down all who oppose him with the sword Sol Divide. Players progress through multiple stages in both Arcade and Original Mode, each offering different areas and challenges. Defeated enemies drop useful items such as magic scrolls, healing potions, magic bottles (Arcade Mode), and protective accessories (Original Mode).
