Play with Cards! My First DS is an educational Nintendo DS game aimed towards young children. It is also the only Sega game that requires the Card Reader, which comes bundled with the game. This is a word game that uses 46 karuta cards with hiragana characters from "a" to "n" written on them and the DS. Let your child experience the world of letters and words by scanning the cards and playing with them like a simple toy. There are 8 types of games to play! In each mode, the Nintendo DS will read out the letters and the illustrations on the cards will move on the screen, so there are plenty of mechanisms that allow you to become familiar with letters and words while having fun.
