The kingdom of Gorak was dominated by the terrible Lord Madralian, who murdered King Argon III. Madralian placed the blame on magic, banishing all the kingdom's mages to Tormenta Prison. You are one of the prisoners there, a young wizard who before being detained was experimenting with a certain time spell, during which you accidentally glimpsed the scene of the crime against the king. All you wanted most now was to escape and reveal the truth to the people. A prison riot seems like the perfect opportunity.
