adidas Power Soccer 98 is the fourth and final game in the series. It combines arcade and simulation gameplay and includes twelve tournament types, eleven leagues, 120 national teams and about 30 stadiums. Players can perform moves like flick passes, short dribbles and sliding tackles. A speed button makes players run faster but reduces ball control, and the game automatically switches to the player closest to the ball. The camera zooms dynamically, and up to four players can play via multitap. The game was released in June 1998 during the World Cup in France.
