Black Matrix Cross est le second remake du premier opus de la saga tactical RPG sorti initialement sur Sega Saturn (le premier remake étant Black Matrix Advanced paru un an avant, en 1999, sur Dreamcast). Vous incarnez Abel, un ange au service d'une "diablesse" dont il tombe amoureux mais elle disparait... il se lance alors dans une aventure afin de la retrouver.
