Potestas is a Latin word which signifies power; authority; domination; empire. It has several meanings. 1. It signifies imperium, or the jurisdiction of magistrates. 2. The power of the father over his children, patriapotestas. 3. The authority of masters over their slaves, which makes it nearly synonymous with dominium. Potestas is a political simulation game that takes place in a fantasy land where the player have to take different politics about land, buildings, taxes, farming, gambling, etc. The player can check every part of the land to know what the people of each part of the land needs and try to solve their problems, after checking in each turn he got to take different decisions and depending of their choices all of them got to be taken to the parlament where there will be a voting, if the action is elected it will be done. Depending of the actions the country will be better or worse, increase or decrease the money, the people will be more or less happy. So is the player chance to control politically a country and make the better goverment that he can do. The gameplay is about selecting different actions and when the player had decided what he wants to do in that turn he just click over the key button and them the voting will take place. The game features also a multiplay option that allows up to 4 human player to play at the same time in a vs mode.
