In "Summon Night," you take on the role of one of four high school students magically transported to a fantasy world. There, you discover the ability to use summoning gemstones to call forth magical creatures that assist you in battles or casting spells. You explore towns, interact with NPCs, recruit allies, and collect items while advancing the story. Battles take place on isometric, grid-based maps where terrain and elevation play a crucial role. Your choice of protagonist affects the storyline, your guardian creature's abilities, and the possible endings. Dialogue options determine which characters join your party and how the story unfolds.
