In 1999, Superman: The New Adventures would be released for the Playstation by BlueSky Software would be a direct port of the N64 version game, developed by Titus Software, a now extinct French studio. because on the N64 despite being sold well, the game was received with a lot of negative attention and reception, for being buggy, frustrating, having bad controls and having bad graphics and textures, but due to hardware limitations the PS1 did not support the city of Metropolis, BlueSky had to recreate the game from scratch and would be published by Titus.
