Ever 17: The Out of Infinity is a Japanese science fiction visual novel produced by KID. It was originally released on August 29, 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast. A Windows version, Ever 17: The Out of Infinity Premium Edition, was released on May 16, 2003. In December 2005, Hirameki International released an English edition of the PC version in the United States. A handheld version for PSP was released in 2009. In early 2011, 5pb. announced a remake of the visual novel, released for the Xbox 360 in Japan in 2011. A port of the original game was released for Android and iOS devices in 2013 with an added Twitter share feature. Ever 17 is the second game of the Infinity series by KID, preceded by Never 7: The End of Infinity, and followed by Remember 11: The Age of Infinity, 12Riven, and Code 18, all of which (with the exception of Code_18) take place within the same universe.
