Keroro is a plucky little green, frog-like alien who claims to be leading an invasion of Earth... but after his platoon is caught by Fuyuki and Natsumi Hinata -- a young brother and sister -- while hiding in their house, they are abandoned by their home planet, and take up residence with the Hinata family. Keroro insists he is still trying to conquer the planet, but seems more interested in building Gundam models than world domination, and fails miserably with every attempt. Keroro Gunsou - MeroMero Battle Royale is a multiplayer party fighting game similar to Power Stone, based on the popular anime and manga franchise known internationally as Sgt. Frog. Up to four players can play as one of twelve characters -- five of the frog-like invaders, five human characters, plus two hidden characters -- and duke it out in an overhead-view arena. Many items and weapons pop up during battles, which characters can grab and use against their opponents. One peculiar feature of the game is that everything takes place in a diorama, and each stage has two such arenas connected, which will switch depending on conditions in the battle.
