Thunder Force VI is a horizontal shoot 'em up with a style very similar to the previous installments, inheriting many elements from the fifth installment, such as the weapon system and the characteristics of the CLAW unit. So we will have to kill all kinds of enemies and face powerful bosses and sub-bosses, obviously having the possibility of changing the speed of the ship and switching from forward fire to rear fire, in addition to being able to choose the order of the first three phases. As a novelty, CLAW units are capable of returning some types of fire.
