The games had been developed to be teaching tools mathematics, each released in two parts ('Jou' and 'Ge'), for 4th, 5th and 6th grade primary school mathematics, generating a total of six games in the series, each with textbooks/ accompanying workbooks for use while playing. All games in the series were designed for and required the Konami Q-Ta Famicom adapter.
