The first of Krisalis' football games based on the exploits of Manchester United is Manchester United Europe, a fun action football game. You can lead this popular club in major European tournaments, including the European Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup, and even the World Cup of Clubs. The Amiga game features excellent graphics and 4-player action via a joystick adapter. You can perform one-touch football and aftertouch tricks, and have full control over your goalkeeper's actions. Coaching options are limited but sufficient: you can make substitutions, see player punishments, and watch action replays. Manchester United Europe is great fun for casual football fans who are comfortable with their joystick skills, and has its own personality and style that deserves a closer look.
